The Greatest ball in golf

Recently three friends and I hit the links at a public course in Tucson Arizona where I currently reside. The day seemed normal enough, it was only 110 degrees (no exaggerations) but there weren't many clouds in the sky and not much breeze at all. Little did I know this day was going to be special.

I was on the 5th tee box debating what club I was going to use on the 141 yard par 3. There was a little wind in my face and I tend to over swing and hit terrible shots when I think I need a little extra distance, so I pull out my 7 iron and tee up my Titleist ProV1x a little higher than usual. There was a bunker staring me in the face on the front left side of the green and there was plenty of safe landing area in the back of the pin so I did not want to be short, at the same time I was worried that I had too much club.

I stepped up to hit and put an easy, smooth, and controlled swing on the ball and made perfect contact. The shot looked good from the beginning it was going right at it. It was definitely enough, it actually looked like it might end up little long. The ball landed, took one bounce and disappeared.

With the actual cup and back of green being out of sight, no one was certain exactly where the ball ended up. As we walked up to the flag there was not a ball on the green, shows how well the rest of the players were playing that day. Sure enough I had just hit a Hole in One! It was my first eagle and definitely my first hole in one.

I am an average golfer that shoots around ninety. I honestly believe that the only reason that ball went in that hole was because it was the greatest ball in golf. The fat, two inch divot was about 13 inches from the cup. Any other golf ball hits the green, bounces over the cup and rolls, who knows how far.

The Titleist ProV1x is the only ball that can absorb all of that velocity and stick where you want it, when you need it. I always agreed that Titleist ProV1 was the best ball around but after that magical hole in 1, I now have authentic proof and I will be praising the makers of the Titleist ProV1x for the rest of my life. Thank you Titleist for being great, and for one day and for one shot, making me great.
