Ball of Destiny?

It all started one day at Holly Ridge in Sandwich, MA. As I walked up to one of the tee boxes, I noticed a ball lying there so I grabbed it and it was a brand new Titleist Pro v1 with a Northeastern logo on it. I was pretty happy with the find and I used the ball for the rest of my round and played very well with it. A couple of days later, June 21, 2008 (Fathers Day, US Open Sunday), I made a hole in one with the ball at Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds hole 4 (very difficult par 3 by the way). So I guess it was meant to be! I have the ball, scorecard, and newspaper clipping but I just recently found out about this program from Titleist so I applied for the bag token and now I am sharing my story. I have had a lot of close calls since then but it remains my only 1 and I know many great golfers, including my grandfather (scratch player RIP), don’t have any, so I know it could be my only one and I will always cherish it and have a soft spot for the Pro v1.
