New Ball Pays Off

I recently attended a Team Titleist event at Pinehurst called Short Game Experience and was for the first time fitted for a ball. A Titleist Pro V1X moving from the ProV1. Since then, playing on the course I have seen a noticeable difference in my ball flight and control; especially stopping power. Have actually spun a few back which I never have done before. Not sure if ball or new wedge I received. I even won a closest-to-the-pin while in Pinehurst with the new ball. Well today, while prepping for an upcoming event at my local club, I teed up and new Pro V1x that I was fitted for, took dead aim at a 135-yard par 3 downhill, water on right and rear, and woods on the left. All with a narrow approach that looks like a bowling alley lane. As soon as I hit the ball I knew I was on a good line. I hit it about two feet in front on the hole, hopped past the hole, then spun back in for an ace. My first since joining the club three years ago. Me and my playing partners were waking the neighborhoods up. I never realized just how much better one's game could get by playing the right ball. Thanks Team Titleist for all you do. I have become a dart thrower now.
