• First Hole-in-one

    Got my first Hole-in-one at Bennett Valley Golf Course in Northern California on July 14, 2025. 115 yard par 3. Used a Titleist Pro V1x ball with play number 1 and a T350 pitching wedge.

    I strongly recommend you go to a titleist ball fitting.
    The fitter will talk you through all the balls available, you’ll hit several shots with your own clubs, half, full, etc and the stats, spin rate etc will help determine what is recommended for your…

    Good question.

    If the fitting went well, I probably don’t want to play with the old clubs. Too much new club envy. I’d probably blame every bad shot on the old clubs.

    At age 73 after playing for 45 yrs finally made a hole in one. 5th hole at Shallow Creek Golf Club, The Villages, FL, July 12. Hit an 8 iron from 112yds, hit on the fringe rolled up and trickled in.
