Wow. Those go way back. Those are Titleist DT100 compression.Back when balls had a wound core, there were different compressions;80,90,100. The "DT" stands for durable Titleist",meaning it was a hard surlyn cover. I'm not sure how old they are but I haven's seen the Acushnet logo on a dozen balls in years.Even the cellophane wrap is vintage.

    Quite a find.

I would love to get my hands on one of those sleeves. I have kept a sleeve of every Titleist golf ball I have ever played:

    Tour Balata 100
    Professional 90
    Titleist Pro V1s...

PS, we have definitely gone a long way from the feathery golf balls. I only got to play the last versions of the balatas and when I changed to urethane cover ProV1s, it was a whole new world.
  4. Thanks for the responses. Ive only been playing a few years so I wouldn't know anything about vintage balls. I knew that they were old , like maybe 60's...I was surprised at the condition. And how cool they looked. And I paid about 1/3 of what a modern set cost... No brainer. I keep them in my conditioned office.

I played the DT 90's back in high school (1978-1981) cool find you have there.

  6. I agree that is a cool find. I also have a couple of sets of old muscle back irons from back in the day in my garage that work very well with those balls. Happy to see there are still some of us old school guys that still remember the old stuff.
