  1. Cut my TSR3 to play at 45". When I look online they say cutting 1/2 inch short, that is 3 SW points or 6 grams but then I see conflicting results from people saying the Titleist rep said to add the +2 weight for 1/2 inch short.

I'd like to bring the SW back to stock when it was at 45.5"

Typically, yes, Titleist recommends +2g with 1/2 shorter from what I have read. I have always played 45" Titleist drivers with +4g. Depending on which shaft I am playing, it brings my SW to just under D4. Again, that is my preference and what works for me. I have tried +2g and +6g and it just does not produce the same results / numbers. It's something you will have to play with now that you have shortened the shaft. You can purchase them for a reasonable price. Check GolfWorks and Ebay. Good luck my friend!

If you do it yourself, your just guessing at the correct weight, unless you have a swing weight scale. If you have access to a club builder talk to them for advice. If you still want to do it yourself I suggest getting a couple weights and try them out.

My fitter added 2 g for my TSR-2 shortened a half inch.

You can add lead tape until it feels right, then order a weight to match.
  5. I was fit at TPI back in 2019 for the TSi2 and had it cut down 1/2” with a +2 gram weight. However I now have a TSR3 that I cut down 1/2” but the +2 was not enough so I went +4 and it’s way better. Perhaps my swing has changed or perhaps the different models are different weights, so it’s always best to talk to a club fitter that has the proper weights. Trying it on your own can lead to you taking longer to finding the right adjustments.
