  1. Hi, I last got fitted 9 years ago, miz through the bag and feel it's a time for a change. I really like the look of the T150 & T250.

My main issue is I hate my current 3 wood to the extent I just don't use it anymore, my current thought process is to either go with a hybrid or the u505 2 iron.

What are people's thoughts on the u505?

  2. Go for a fitting, i thought i needed the u505 2 and 4 iron but 220 carry with 4 and 225 carry with 2 so had the 3 instead and changed the shart and got 230 with low flight and 40 decent angle so can use as approach shot and stop. amazing to hit so easy !!
  3. I bought one to use when I am playing out in Japan early and late winter. It’s my fairway finder on the tight courses over there in Japan. I also use it a lot chasing shots on to par 5’s in to the wind.

I like using this specific utility iron on tight courses and on very windy days. I highly recommend a fitting to make sure you get the correct shaft for your swing speed.

For the record, this utility iron is not an everyday carry in the bag. I have the GT2 hybrid and that thing is bananas. It’s so forgiving and ball feels sweet off the face of club. It’s usually in the bag 80% of the time.

But, having U505 utility iron in your arsenal can be a game changer.

The utilities are great clubs, but keep in mind the issue with your 3-wood is in your approach to hitting it. If it "used" to be a good/reliable club, then you've made a subtle change in your path or angles. There's a reason a lot of better players still take lessons, as we make little changes without even realizing it. Good Luck!

    My thought...
The U505 is so darn HUGE, you might as well just get a hybrid. It looks ridiculous and people that play them look ridiculous. Just use a hybrid. It's a hybrid. Buy a hybrid.
