So, I'm a 18 HCP player and have been playing on and off my whole life. I also am a feel player. What works one day might not work the next, which is very frustrating. I do feel like I lose most of my strokes around the greens, typical. I would like to find a teacher or coach that I could rely on to help improve my game. Any thoughts on choosing the right one. Unfortunately, I feel like you might have to go through some to find the right fit.

While you are searching for a golf coach practice your short game.
Dedicate 90% of your practice from 50 yards in....be creative and have fun!!!
I can attest to this...it's all about getting up and down in the least amount of strokes.

    Cheers,

Talk to different ones and get an idea of how, they like to approach things & see if that matches your thoughts. Also schedule a lesson and see if you like how he or she works with you before you commit. Make sure they have you hit on real grass and not mats.

It is a process and it is your dime, so spend it with someone you feel comfortable with.

    Good Luck......

Find a PGA teaching professional, they will find your weaknesses, be a good listener and practice, practice, practice......mine has been very helpful....have been away from golf since November and when I get released from my doctor will go back to see my pro for a tune up.......before hitting the links......
