The best players in the game don't hit every green in regulation, in fact the TOUR average is around 65% - meaning that these players are scrambling to get it up and down 35% of the time.

And for us mere mortals, we're hitting even fewer greens in regulation and needing to convert even more up and downs.

Enter Titleist Staff Member Cameron McCormick and one of his favorite short game drills that he calls "Scales." As you'll see in this video, the objective of the Short Game Scales drill is to work on your ability to control the trajectory and landing zone of your golf ball with a goal to have your shot finish within 10 feet of the hole.

Watch the video above to learn how to set it up, then add this exercise to your practice routine and start lowering your scores.

This was an awesome video. I love the detail and visualization in place for getting the ball within a 10 foot diameter. Definitely taking these concepts to the practice facility and hopefully the score drops a few strokes.

Liked the video and explanation of how to visualize the shots , will try it out at the practice area but do not think it will lead to a quick fix.
