I was 15 playing a Friday afternoon Sporters Comp at Beaudesert Golf Course. On the 2nd hole which is a Par 3, I hit a Greg Norman Shark Golf Ball with my Brosnan 7 iron. Struck it nicely but as you are hitting into the sun I couldn’t see where the ball landed. We got up to the green and I couldn’t find my ball anywhere, on the green or the rough. So a last ditch effort I looked in the hole and there it was! Of course I was totally shocked and surprised and it was a great feeling! A couple of weeks later I was presented with a trophy and the ball which is the photo I have attached! I’m now 42 and have come close a couple of times but never been able to hit another one. That’s my hole in one story.
