On Aug. 14, 2025, at Fox Run Golf Course in Elk Grove Village, IL, during my weekly league play, I was on Hole #6, a 138-yard Par 3. I hit my Titleist Pro V1 8 ball to the green with my TM 8 Iron. The ball landed on the green about 10 yards to the right of the pin and then rolled left out of sight because of a raised sand trap in front of the pin. On reaching the green, I saw a ball about 15 feet from the pin and assumed that it was my ball. However, my friend claimed that it was his ball, so I thought that I must have rolled off of the green but did not see it anywhere. So, as I started walking to the edge of the green, I passed by the pin and lo and behold, my ball was in the hole!!! And the excitement began.... This was my second hole-in-one with a Titleist ball - the first being in 2016.
