While I was working at the Proshop a team asked if there was anyone who could fill in as a fourth because their fourth had to tend to an incident hours away. I was volunteered and away I went with 3 absolute strangers 20 years my junior. We clicked right away and were enjoying a beautiful fall day when we arrived at the par 3 5th.
Jake suggested I had too much club for the 132 yds and I told him I'd 3/4 it to keep it down. I truly smoothed that shot and it never left the pin. It hit the green about 10 steps shot and rolled in like a putt. We just looked at each other for a second and then jumped around like little girls. What a great memory after 39 years of wanting.
