  1. Found an old 97’ Scotty Cameron Catalina putter with rust. I’m trying to restore it to its original look. Any Ideas? (no coke bath)

If it were me..do it right and send it to Scotty's Custom Shop. It's costs a bit, but it'll get done right. Not that you couldn't do it, but would you try to touch up a Monet if it was damaged? These things are works of art and should be treated as such. IMO

There are many re-finish options online, or on IG. I've even sent putters to Cameron for re-finish/touchup. Be careful though, fill out the online work order properly, and expect a lengthy timeframe on occasion. It can be a 4-6 week process.

I can definitely understand wanting to work on this yourself for the satisfaction, etc. However, have you given thought to simply sending it directly to the Scotty Cameron shop for the restoration? I've never sent them a putter, but I'm certain that they would have the putter looking brand new.

    Just a thought

If you want a standard restoration, go with Scotty’s custom shop. If you want something a little different, try NorCal Putters

It is a Scotty Cameron!!!! If you want to bring it back to it's original condition, send it back to it's originator. I have never had to send anything to their custom shop, because I take good care of my putters, but from all the pictures I have seen on here from loyalists who have used them, their work is superior. Would you take a BMW to Earl Scheib's for a paint job? Just sayin'.
