  1. A very borderline day to play golf - probably too foggy at times on higher bits of the course so a few “blind” plays and certainly many balls were only able to be seen on the way up but not on the way down. The course was opened at 9:00 and a few others were out there too.

Nevertheless it was great to be out there - one lost ball with a hooked three wood into the heather. The cold and damp certainly meant distance was well down so definitely playing longer irons than normal.

Anyone else brave enough to be out there?

    Good effort buddy!!

I’ve not been able to get out playing as I’m away working at the moment,
but I’ll definitely get some practice and games under my belt when home

  4. Very foggy at our place but members keen to get out there.
In our threeball someone had to walk up to check the pin positions on every hole even the Par3s.
Had a few balls bouncek on to the greens as we were putting out!
It was a competition and must have worked for some people as winning scores were 44 and 45 points.
    I wasn't one of those.

The Photo looks like one of them scenes from the start of a Ryder cup DVD ... switch on Peter Alliss voice over in your head ''Its the morning of the second days play of the 43rd Ryder cup here at Valderrama as the fog lifts the greens men are putting the finishing touches to the course ahead of another exciting days play''
