  1. Just wondering how some of you have been finding the TSR range on the course? It’s an absolute rocket & super consistent ball flight for me. So impressed with it, it can only get better!

They are fantastic, definitely one of the best woods Titleist have made
I love hitting bombs with my TSR2, very forgiving on the miss hits too which is always a bonus ️‍♂️

Played yesterday for first time in 3 weeks and didn’t miss a fairway, distance great, dispersion tight, and I’ve only got the driver, I’m booked in for fairway and hybrid. Go get fitted!!

Loving my TSR2 driver. A good hit with it is much and such the same as it was with my old TS3 but the difference in off centre strikes is so noticeable!!

The new TSR range look great, but then the previously TSi models did to.

Just wondering if anyone's gone from Tsi - to TSR and what the big differences were?

Martin, I went from TSI to TSR, hes what i posted the evening of my fitting....

Went over to Woburn for the TSR driver fitting today, Hit my own driver nicely, put down some good numbers, 149 - 150 ball speed, not sure what spin was but hit a couple of bad ones and spin got right up to 3300+. started with the TSR3, looks the same at address, hit some with my own shaft, straight away ball speed up and spin down. then went onto the TSR2, same size head but longer profile, doesn't fit my eye but again put some good numbers in. tried the TSR4 just to have a go, hit a monster with it but anything off center goes nowhere (it’s a smaller less forgiving head) Went back to the TSR3. Tried some new stock shafts, again, ball speed up, spin down, but no shaft performed better than my own (the up charge, AD IZ6). So same shaft, TSR3 head, same loft, same set up weight and hosel setting wise, but was getting 4/5 mph more ball speed, spin even on some bad ones was down, carry was an extra 5/6yards average with more when I really caught one.

    Thanks Tom, interesting feedback.

I've got a fitting at the weekend so can't wait to see how it goes.

Tom - Didn't think there'd be any noticeable difference!!

Tried the TSI3 with my Tour Adi shaft and there were slight gains in distance and forgiveness on off-centre hits but not really enough to make a change.

Then we tried the TSR2 10* and all I can say is wow!!! So much more forgiving and gained 13 yards straight away without really trying. Swing speed was up to and just felt so confident.

To say it's Titleist's best driver to date is a massive understatement, absolutely love it!!

Got to try the new TSR metals out now.
  12. I’m interested to see the difference between the TSi and TSR. I’ve booked in for a fitting on Monday.
  13. Only got the fairways so far (TSR2+ 13* & TSR2 18* 5wood) but they are brilliant. Loved the TSi range but the TSR seems to be at another level. Easy to launch and even not-so-perfect hits seem to go the distance. The 5w picks up readily from rough - I tried that before I ordered, thinking about what it might replace in the bag...
Seems I have reverted to the "Old School" set-up of of 3w/5w and have moved away from hybrids altogether - strange to think I had two hybrids in the bag a few years back...

It might seem a bit counter-intuitive to sort the fairways before the driver but I'm comfortable with the process. I can now look forward to seeing which driver suits me best in terms of distance & dispersion in the knowledge that my fall-back position 3w is strong.

I’ve gone from tsi3 driver to tsr2, slightly more forgiveness, have gone back to the tensei raw white instead of the black in the new driver though. The black is miss for me.

I’ve also gone from tsi2 16.5 fairway to tsr2 16.5 fairway. It’s a little more forgiving and launches higher. Again I went back to the av raw white rather than the black.

I’ve moved from the tsi3 to the TSR 2 and it’s been good so far I can’t seem to miss with is very good for finding fairways. Now since I’ve taken it out, on the course I haven’t been swinging it well and it’s been a testament to how good the driver actually is because it’s been the strongest part of my game since the start of the year.
I have had it at the range to try and work on my swing and I just love it. I love the flight of it and it seems to be longer than my old TSI3.
Definitely on average, a longer driver. Beautifull looking club. I’m very happy with it.

  17. Had the TSR 2 driver in the bag now for a couple of months - have to agree that it’s a fantastic driver distance and dispersion wise. Heading for a fairway wood fitting next week
  18. Awesome, let me know how the fitting goes!
  19. Now replaced my TS3 (8.5*) Hzrdus Smoke with a TSr3 (9*) on a Hzrdus Red CB.
What a great change - Instead of an irritating cutty fade, I have a sweet little draw.
My driver swing once again reflects my 3 wood swing instead of a desperate thrash searching for a fairway.
Smash factor up, increased ball speed, spin averaging 2300, improved accuracy, +yards.
Just goes to show what a good fitter (and the right product!) can do for you.
