Just back from my Titleist fitting for the new T Series irons at Craigielaw!

Just wow, hurry up and get yourself fitted!!

Once again, such a fantastic experience. The layout is amazing and big G goes above and beyond to help you get the best out of your time and fitting with him. The new parking bays for Titleist fitting is a lovely touch!

The main event, just looking at the new irons your like wow simply stunning!

So my golf hasn’t been to good lately lots of injuries unfortunately. My gaming irons the now 2023 T200, amt s300 tour white shafts, standard loft and lie. Been hitting them ok. So after my warm up and hitting several shots, good base line recorded with my 7iron. Best was 110mph, spin 4500, height 60ft, 33deg stopping angle 151 carry roll out to 170. Next up T250 same set up as my old irons, 113mph, spin 4300, height 80ft, 42deg stopping angle 165 yards carry 180 roll out. Moving in the right direction

Then it was a new T250 like a tour head plays 4deg more loft than standard, can’t remember all the rest of the technical technology in this head haha 111mph, 4400 spin, height 100ft, 50deg stopping angle 155 roll out 160. Not as good results for me as T250 before.

Couple of changes again and I’m handed another club. T250 different offset I’m sure and 2 deg more loft. 114mph, 4500 spin, height 100ft, 48 deg stopping angle, 170 carry 178 roll out. Another 10 shots with this and all roughly the same give or take a couple of yards.

The difference was just unbelievable, much more penetrating, high ball flight, hook gone to nearly a baby draw, landing and stopping so much quicker, yet going further with tighter dispersion. The feel off the club head was better and sound of the new irons just so sweet. With this new irons I was landing a 7 the same as my old P wedge. I looked at big G and said sold!! Let me take them away right now haha.

Once again huge thanks to all involved at Titleist for everything they do, these new irons are something special!! Hurry up and get fitted!! Come on team Titleist!!

    Cheers ️‍♂️

Just back from a great fitting session with Andrew Plint at the National Fitting Centre at St Ives. I’d recommend everyone to get fitted with the new T irons as the options now available to the fitters are seemingly endless.

For people wanting the exec summary I’ve moved towards a blended set which the new design of the T irons makes for a more seemless look in the bag. T250 in the 4 and 5 with T150 for 6 through PW with Mitsubishi MMT AMC Blue 85g stiff shafts.

I was fitted by a very dedicated and patient Andrew Plint who really knows his stuff and makes you feel very comfortable hitting your Titleist ball of choice. We started with my current 7 iron a 2023 T150 fitted with a regular Mitsubishi graphite shaft. We then moved through the whole range of new irons from T100 to T350 including the new T250* and using the new Mitsubishi MMT AMC Blue regular shaft. The T100 was surprisingly comparable to my current T150. To cut a long thread short we settled on deep diving into the new T150 and T250.
The fitting options now available with loft and head weight changes is bewildering. However Andrew kept me focused on the task in hand and after seeing an 8 yard gain in carry with the T150 7 iron settled on this as the basis for my set. The surprise in the package was the significantly tighter dispersion with the MMT AMC Blue 85 gram stiff shaft.
We then needed to decide where to fit for the top end of the bag. After testing and trying all the options from a GT9 wood GT2 and GT3 24* hybrid I found I was much more comfortable with a more traditional iron set up.
Enter the T250U and 505U again with Andrew’s patience and expertise we settled on the regular T250 with the AMC Blue for the 4 and 5 iron. The 6 to PW being the T150.
A brilliant fitting well worth the time to get it right. I was really surprised at how much I gained from the new T irons compared to my 2023 set up. Not only distance but consistency and tighter dispersion.
    Thank you Andrew.

sounds a great experience (as I'd expect from previous fittings at St Ives) - highlights the benefit of being fitted by the experts . Good luck with the new clubs when they arrive.
