Do most of you use the stock shafts in the Vokey wedges or do you match the shafts in your irons. If you do match, do you go with a weaker/stronger flex or different weight?

I don't use sand and lob wedges for full shots and stay with the stock S200 shaft. My P is an iron (graphite shafts). I'm up in the air with the 48. I over think whether to use the W iron or a wedge. Since I rarely use the 48 wedge for full shots and it is time to replace it, I'll probably stay with a 48 with the S200.

The usual guidance is if your wedge is more like another iron, it would be the same shaft as the irons.

I use my 50 and 56 occasionally for full swings - as such, the shafts match my irons. My 62 is more of a finesse club and I have slightly heavier shaft (same flex) in it to add to the feel. YMMV though - get with your fitter and try out different combos - they can point you in the right direction!

The shaft in your set is usually fit to your full swing tempo and speed. Unless you never hit a half or 3/4 shot with your wedges I think wedge flex or an alternative shaft would be best.
