  1. Say you don't love the amount of rust that has accumulated, how would one go about SAFELY removing that build up? Is it possible to get back to an "out of the box" appearance?

Maybe try a short soak in Coca-Cola, and a light brushing with an old toothbrush.

    I completely agree!

Once the raw wedges rust, they will never be out of the box finish wise.

If you want to clean the face, the best way I have found is to hit a few full wedges shots from a practice bunker. It will clean them up pretty well.
  5. It would be best if you had op for the other finish instead, RAW finish is designed to rust, and never go back.

You can get it pretty darn close using a green Scotchbrite pad and some Bar Keepers Friend.

I do this all the time with "Mr. Clean Magic Erasures", takes the rust off and buffs them up pretty close to factory. That said, I will echo that bunker use (or hopefully just practice!) will provide the same result.

RAW is my preferred finish - have been playing this for years.
  8. Keep in mind that RAW is very soft metal compared to the other finishes so it could come out of spec (loft and lie) very easily. You should have access to a loft and lie machine monthly to ensure your wedge(s) are to spec.
