TITLEIST BRAND AMBASSADOR MICHAEL BRENNAN WINS IN 1ST PGA TOUR START AS A PROFESSIONAL

  • In his third-ever PGA TOUR start and first as a professional, Titleist Brand Ambassador Michael Brennan delivered a career-changing week with power and precision, gaining over 10 strokes tee to green on his way to a four-shot victory in southern Utah.
  • Gaming a Pro V1 golf ball and full bag of Titleist equipment, including his GT3 9.0° driver, Brennan recorded the TOUR’s best driving performance of the year with +7.614 strokes gained off the tee, combining a 351.1-yard driving distance average with 89% driving accuracy.
  • Brennan, who became just the seventh player since 1970 to win his first PGA TOUR title in three starts or less, also hit 79.2% GIR with an average proximity of 31’8” (15th) and was T5 in Scrambling (73%).
  • Adding to his +10.788 SG: Tee-to-Green, Brennan gained another +5.392 strokes putting, using his Scotty Cameron Phantom 7.2 to roll in over 311 feet of putts.
  • The 23-year-old Wake Forest graduate, who was playing on a sponsor invite, recorded 25 birdies and two eagles while posting rounds of 67-65-64-66 to finish the week at 22 under.
  • He earns PGA TOUR membership through 2027 following a dominant summer on PGA TOUR Americas, where he posted 12 top-10s in 16 starts including three victories to finish atop the tour’s point list.

BRENNAN RECORDS TOUR’S SEASON-BEST DRIVING PERFORMANCE WITH GT3 DRIVER, NEWLY-ADDED GT1 3-WOOD

  • With his GT3 driver and newly-added GT1 3-wood in the bag, Michael Brennan put on the driving performance of the year in Utah, gaining over 7.5 shots (+7.616, 1st) off the tee — more than any other player on TOUR in 2025 for a single tournament.
  • For the week, Brennan ranked second in driving distance and T7 in driving accuracy, hitting 50 of 56 fairways for the week (89%) while averaging over 350 yards (351.10).
  • Looking to build on his lead on the back nine Sunday, Brennan showed no signs of playing it safe off the tee.
  • He pulled driver on No. 11 — the hardest hole on the course — and delivered a 401-yard drive right down the middle of the fairway to set up a stress-free par.
  • On the very next hole, while his playing partners laid back, Brennan let another driver rip.
  • His Pro V1 finished greenside, 418 yards from the tee. He made birdie.
  • According to Titleist Tour Rep Nick Geyer, Brennan likes to hit several different kinds of shots with his GT3, varying trajectories and adjusting tee height as he sees fit.
  • The GT3 has given him the perfect blend of speed and workability without sacrificing forgiveness, unlocking all the shots he needs out on the course. 

  • Brennan’s other option off the tee was his GT1 14.5° fairway, a brand-new addition to the bag.
  • The 23-year-old worked with Geyer this week in Utah to dial in his fairway wood setup, and after testing multiple options, they landed on the GT1 in the D•1 SureFit setting (-0.75 degrees of loft, standard lie angle) with the model’s heavier movable weight placed in the forward position.
  • Brennan loved the GT1’s shallower face height, which allowed him to elevate the ball easily off the turf and hit his preferred flight window off the tee.
  • Brennan called on his new 3-wood on the drivable 312-yard par-4 14th before finding the putting surface with his tee shot to set up a two-putt birdie — his final birdie of the week. 

1-2 FINISH FOR PRO V1 GOLF BALL + GT DRIVER PLAYERS 

  • Also gaming a Pro V1 golf ball and GT driver (GT2 8.0°) was the runner-up, who recorded a career-best solo second-place finish.
  • He carded rounds of 68-68-63-67 (18 under), gaining over four shots off the tee (+4.264, 9th) and over seven shots approaching the green (+7.685, 2nd). 
  • The 30-year-old switched to Pro V1 from a competitive golf ball model at the start of the year before having an outstanding season of ball-striking.
  • He leads the TOUR this year in Total Driving and ranks second in both Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green (+1.237) and Greens in Regulation (72%).
  • He moved into his GT2 driver from a competitive model at the Zurich Classic.
  • In addition to his Pro V1 golf ball and GT2 driver, he games Vokey SM10 wedges and a Scotty Cameron Phantom 11 prototype putter.

10TH WIN IN 11 EVENTS FOR VOKEY SM10 LOB WEDGE PLAYERS

  • Michael Brennan brought three Vokey Design SM10 wedges to the winner’s circle on Sunday: 46.10F, 50.12F, 54.10S, WedgeWorks 60K*.

BRENNAN WINS WITH NEW T-SERIES MODELS, BLENDED SET OF TITLEIST IRONS

  • Of the Titleist Brand Ambassadors currently playing on the PGA TOUR, approximately 80 percent are playing blended sets of at least two Titleist iron models, demonstrating the importance of custom fitting and optimization throughout the bag.
  • Michael Brennan won on Sunday with three different Titleist iron models: NEW T150 3-iron, NEW T100 4-5 irons and 620 CB 6-9 irons.
  • Like many tour players, Brennan strategically pairs precision-focused scoring irons with more forgiving long irons.

  • On Sunday in Utah, Brennan hit 15 of 18 GIR on his way to a closing 5-under 66 and four-shot win. 

BRENNAN ROLLS TO FIRST TOUR WIN WITH PHANTOM 7.2 

  • Michael Brennan was exceptional on the greens on his way to his first career PGA TOUR win, gaining +5.392 strokes on the field (8th) with his Scotty Phantom Phantom 7.2 tour prototype putter.
  • Over four rounds in Utah, he made over 311 feet of putts.
  • The Phantom 7.2 is a tour-proven mallet with a modern wing-back head shape and dual-purpose “rail” alignment on the inside of the wings.
  • The .2 signifies its plumbing neck configuration, which offers increased toe flow (compared to a single-bend shaft setup) for golfers seeking a more blade-like feel with the performance of a mallet.

KYRIACOU GOES UNDEFEATED AS TEAM AUSTRALIA WINS INTERNATIONAL CROWN

  • Titleist Brand Ambassador Stephanie Kyriacou helped Team Australia to victory, earning an undefeated 3-0-2 record in her five foursomes matches. 
  • Kyriacou and her partner punched Australia’s ticket to the finals by defeating their Team World opponents in 20 holes in Sunday morning’s semifinal foursome match.

APAC CHAMPION MOUNTS COMEBACK VICTORY WITH PRO V1; PUNCHES TICKET TO MASTERS, OPEN

  • The 2025 Asia-Pacific Amateur champion erased a six-shot deficit at the start of the final round, closing in 4-under 68 before winning on the third extra hole.
  • He rolled his Pro V1 in for birdie on the final two holes of regulation as well as all three playoff holes.
  • The 20-year-old is the first Thai winner in championship history.
  • With the win, he will receive an invitation to the 2026 Masters and an exemption into The 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.

TITLEIST IS #1 BALL, MOST PLAYED IN EVERY MAJOR CLUB CATEGORY AT ASIA-PACIFIC AM

  • TItleist was the the overwhelming #1 ball at the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship with 101 competitors (84%) teeing up a Titleist golf ball at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, more than 11 times that of the nearest competitor (9).
  • Titleist was also the top choice of players in every major club category across the elite amateur field: driver (39%), fairway (35%), hybrid (41%), utility (69%), iron (39%), wedge (55%) and putter (33%).

JUNGHWAN LEE (PRO V1x) BREAKS THROUGH TO WIN ON HOME SOIL

  • Junghwan Lee (Pro V1x) stormed back from a four-shot deficit to start the final round, closing in 7-under 64 to complete the come-from-behind victory and earn his first DP World Tour title.
  • The 34-year-old from Gwangjiu, South Korea, posted 11 under to win by three on home soil.
  • Lee’s Sunday 64, which featured five straight birdies from holes 3-7, was the low round of the day by two. 
  • For the week, he made a field-best 22 birdies and gained +5.52 shots from tee to green (18th).
  • Lee led a 1-though-6 finish for Titleist golf ball players on the final leaderboard. 

PRO V1 LEFT DOT + VOKEY LOB WEDGE: TITLEIST BRAND AMBASSADOR JORDAN GUMBERG HOLES OUT FOR EAGLE TO EARN DPWT CARD

  • Calling it “the best shot I've hit in my career so far,” Titleist Brand Ambassador Jordan Gumberg holed his 58-yard approach on the last for an eagle 3, securing his place in the top 115 of the Race to Dubai Ranking to earn his DPWT card. 
  • With the 72nd-hole eagle, Gumberg finished T7 at 6 under and closed in 3-under 68 on Sunday, his best round of the week.
