I've been using my Scotty center shafted prototype for maybe 20+ years now. It still performs well, but keep thinking about trying the Phantom X5.5 or S5 mallet putters.

I have a nice little collection and each one has its own feel. I usually give each one about 2 years and then switch it up if I feel like my mechanics are off. Something about the change in visual perception seems to be working for me. Plus, I just love putters and never get rid of them.

I sometimes go back to my older putters. My 2002 studio stainless still putts great. I added 20 grams of lead tape to the bottom of the 330 gram head and cut it down to 34 inches.

I have a Cameron Circa 62, Titleist Bullseye Flange and Phantom X 5s and rotate them in and out of the bag every few months based on performance.

I used to change every couple of years. But ever since I was fit for my Phantom X 5.5 I don’t think I’ll be changing putters anytime soon! That is a putt dropping machine!

I have collected 5 Scotty's over the past 30 years and rarely jump around between them. Almost always stick with the newest Newport 2 but occasionally will revert back to the GoLo 3 when greens are very slow.

I change putters frequently, however I've been holing putts left and right with my latest Scotty from last season. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
