Really cool that Cam Smith won with the new TSR and Cam Young was 2nd! Love that Titleist swept the Majors with the ProV!

I'm All in when is the release?????.
  4. Hey!!.. I am sold. I currently swing the TS4 8.5degree in the standard setting. I will be upgrading to the TSR3 or the 4 version. from information & videos that I have researched, the TSi4 is a bit more forgiving than the version I am swinging so I will assume the TSR4 may also be a forgiving driver head. A definite option. I just can't wait.

  8. Take or leave my comments, but wanted to share my experience with TSR drivers...
So I got fitted last Friday through a Titleist rep and the results were amazing. I didn't save the Trackman data, but ball speed, clubhead speed all were up on the TSR models comparatively (I tested my C16, TSi3, TSi2, TSR2, TSR3). I game a C16 and got fitted for a TSi3 last year and did not see much improvement if any at all so I passed. The TSR was different across the board. I actually preferred the look at feel of the TSR3, but the enhanced forgiveness on the TSR2 swayed me the other way so I went with TSR2 9.0 Ventus Blue S. The numbers actually were a tad better on the TSR2 than the TSR3 and the moveable weight didn't do much difference. The rep spoke about the TSR4 which was intriguing as well and said that was designed for a very specific type golfer and their swing (he gave Max Homa as an example of one who that was built for).

Any idea on when the official release date will be?

Don't know the official date but they should be in the hands of Titleist authorized retailers by the end of September. Fittings for the TSR are going through a mad pace right now, so the time is near.

    Had my fitting yesterday.

My driver - TS2, Evenflow Project X, Stiff flex

Fitted for TSR3, Project X HZRDUS Red CB 60

Increase of 6 mph clubhead speed
    Increase average 10 yards carry
    Dispersion was much tighter

Look and feel at address are amazing.

Pat was my fitter in Charlotte, and said club could be in about 2 weeks.

Yes, today (September 8th) is the day.

The official announcement is today. I assume pre-orders can now be placed for the official sale date of September 23 ( or shortly thereafter).
Aside from the 7mph increase in ball speed that Glenn found for me with a TSR-2, the biggest news for me is Titleist is committing to a (more) full line of options for those of us that hit from the right side of the ball. Like, the 7W is making an appearance for the first time since the 915 line. Huzzah!!!

We just scheduled a fitting at my Club, looking forward to seeing how the TSR can improve on my TSi set!
  17. These look sweet. I've been playing TM and png since the TSi 2 came out. This might be the one to bring me back to Titleist. Now they have to make an iron to beat my srxn ZX7s out of the bag. Titleist will forever have its place in the bag with the wedges and putter though.
  18. I just finished a fitting for the new driver. I gained 14 yards carry distance and a a tighter dispersion. The TSr is amazing. I did not imagine I could see those gains in distance.
